ITINENARY:

Day 01 – Arrival Da Nang

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel (early check-in is subjected to availability).

In the late afternoon, board a local river boat for a sunset cruise. Try your hand at casting traditional fishing nets, a common fishing method still practiced today.

Learn the art of paddling the unique Vietnamese round basket boats. It’s a fun way to explore the rivers! On the way back to town, enjoy a refreshing sundowner.

Day 02 – Hoi An or Da Nang

Hoi An was a prosperous trading port, attracting Chinese, Japanese, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish ships amongst others. Today, this World Heritage ancient town is recognized for its well-preserved architecture, pedestrian-only streets and distinctive local cuisine.

Take a walking tour and visit the ancient historical sites as well as a local colourful market brimming with local specialties.

Enjoy lunch (at your own cost) and afternoon will be at leisure. You may wish to include an afternoon exploration of the town in a different way or enjoy some family bonding at the beach!

Optional: Hoi An Exploration by Kayak

Explore the Thu Bon River by kayak as you paddle downstream and along the way, see a variety of local sightsincluding fishing boats, dockyards, vegetable gardens, small estuaries and peaceful countryside scenery.

Day 03 – Hoi An or Da Nang

Choose between the two tours today:

Option 1:Buffalo Cart and Farming Life

Discover Hoi An’s countryside with a leisurely buffalo cart ride passing by rice paddies and vegetable farms to the village of Cam Thanh. Learn the methods of farming in the area. Join the friendly farmers in some of their agricultural work including ploughing, raking and watering the soil and transplanting rice.

Option 2: Half Day Cycling and Herb Garden Fun

Experience an organic discovery tour with the local farmers. Start your morning with a leisurely bike ride through the countryside, heading to Tra Que vegetable village and have a tour of the village. Learn how to soak and grind rice by your hand, then make rice paper and grill it on charcoal.

Rest of the day free at leisure to enjoy the resort or the beach. You may wish to extend your stay for some relaxation

Day 04 : Departure Ho Chi Minh City

Today, be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
